Scouting—the perfect antidote to long days in the classroom for young people aged 6 to 16. And, for adults, a great way to grow a whole new circle of friends and get involved in the very heart of our community. Beavers (ages 6-8) meet on Tuesdays, 6.15 to 7.15pm, at Crick Primary School Cubs (ages 8-10½ ) meet on Mondays, 6.30 to 8pm, in Crick Village Hall Scouts (ages 10½ -14) meet on Mondays, 7pm to 8.45pm, at Crick Primary School Explorers’ group run by young people aged 14—16 , with adult support, on demand Exciting and varied programmes—climbing and laser zone nights, craft and science challenges, cooking, panto visits, den-building, night hikes and spooky walks through (disused) train tunnels, campfires and, of course, camping.
